The Janitorial Agency Designated Licensed Agent program

What is a Designated Licensed Agent (DLA)?
How do I become a DLA?
Why should I become a DLA?

A Designated Licensed Agent is someone that represents The Janitorial Agency, providing face to face interaction to clients around the US and Canada. These individuals will adopt the habits and professionalism of our corporate office personnel and operate as an extension of TJA.

How do I become one?

After the franchise investment and completing basic and advanced training (22 courses) with The Janitorial Agency, as well as successfully completing three to fifteen approved walkthroughs, you will be given the option to pursue becoming a Designated Licensed Agent. In order to become a DLA you must pass a personality and qualification test as well as take a two day license program at The Janitorial Agency's corporate office which is located in Lansing, Michigan.

The personality test consists of understanding your strengths and weaknesses. All tests taken with the The Janitorial Agency will be confidential. The qualification test is a basic test that will allow us to understand more of your knowledge of the janitorial industry.

The two day license program consists of a final exam that covers the entire TJA Training Program. At this time the personality and qualification tests will also be given. In addition, seminars will be held on green cleaning, sales training, and other pertinent subjects that relate to the janitorial industry. This two day program will give Designated Licensed Agents the opportunity to see The Janitorial Agency's operations first-hand, so as to exemplify TJA's level of professionalism.

As a DLA you may receive anywhere up to 10 appointments per month. These appointments are based on your performance, profile, demographics, etc. You are expected to spend, on average, one to three hours per appointment. DLA's are accountable to higher esteem than other TJA partners, so you must be prepared to represent The Janitorial Agency in the most professional of manners.

Why should I become a DLA?

As a Designated Licensed Agent, you will receive up to 10 appointments per month, and this is just on average. Depending on your performance, profile, surveys, etc. you may potentially obtain more than 50 appointments.

Your goal is to close 30% of these appointments each month.

On average, each closed appointment results in a $20,000 contract. This gives you a profit of $1000 per contract resulting in $3000 to $15,000 in profit per month.
