While Timothy Black’s title is marketing executive, his job is launching people’s entrepreneurial dreams. Timothy’s job is helping people on a daily basis to realize their desires to become self supporting business owners. His grandparents inspired him to help people for a living. He said, “They’ve helped me in and out of situations when I needed guidance. They also have a strong work ethic that I’ve adopted for myself. When I help a person change their life, it inspires me; it feels good.”

Timothy is a person of faith, and abides by the teachings of the church. As a result, trustworthiness and keeping his word are second nature, and as essential as water. He brings integrity into every aspect of his life, especially work. Timothy says, “When you tell somebody who’s interested in the program that you’re sending them a contract to review, send it. And keeping in touch with all of your clients is incredibly crucial also. What inspires me about my job is getting people to see their dreams of becoming independent come true.”

Timothy has always been a helper at heart. He knew at a young age that he was going to dedicate his life to helping others. He also has a great deal to offer in the area of his wisdom and insight. He says, “I knew I was going to help others from the time I was in kindergarten. I was the biggest helper in the class. When my teacher needed something, I was the first volunteer. It’s who I am.”

Timothy takes great pride in his work. His comfort zone at work lies in his working with a vast diversity of people who need The Janitorial Agency’s services. He says, “Talking with people from different backgrounds is inspiring to me because I get to learn about other cultures. A lot of the people The Janitorial Agency works with are from all parts of the globe before settling in the USA or Canada. It’s fun and refreshing to talk with them.”

Timothy’s main goal at The Janitorial Agency is to build people’s dreams. He says, “Sometimes if you do your job right, you can get people to see the bigger picture. And that’s when things come alive.”

Everybody at The Janitorial Agency works for great management. When asked how management makes things easier, Timothy said, “They’re very easy to talk to, very easy to go to with questions. They actually help you, and they’re very open and honest. They let you know in a positive way what you can do to improve, and they’re not stingy with praise. They really are good leaders.”

Timothy’s philosophy is that everything in life comes down to sales. He says, “In a lot of ways, every time you have a conversation with someone, you’re working your sales magic. Even if you’re just trying to sell a friend on which MP3 player he should buy, you have to have a good command of the language. Why not have a career that practices these skills every day? I definitely enjoy sales.”

Timothy is a family man with three beautiful children. He says, “I have two boys and a beautiful daughter. They’re so smart; my daughter is already learning Spanish, and she’s only seven. I always allow them to use their own personalities so they feel comfortable coming to me with whatever might be concerning them.” Timothy passionately pursues singing as a hobby and enjoys listening to music with a positive message. He says, “There’s music out there that’s not positive. If it’s not positive, I’m not listening to it. I love to sing any chance I get. I’ll sing a half a dozen songs at a karaoke night myself. I tried out for American Idol in Chicago a few years ago. If I could make a living at it, I’d do it everyday.”
