We started in the janitorial services last July, 2010. I had done some training and
received some certification in hard-surface and carpet cleaning, but they didnʼt teach us
the way the janitorial services actually worked! We were certified to clean, but still didnʼt
really know how to get started with clients. They never showed us anything like the
walk-through, that lets you get experience with customers. These other agencies just
gave us a contract, said “This is yours,” and then didnʼt support us anymore. I came to
TJA to learn more about the services I can now give to customers. I would not have the
ideas I have and would not be able to service customers without you guys.
I know with the relationship I have between The Janitorial Agency and my company, I
have continued support. I can continue learning.
The walk-through is the most helpful thing I learned through my preliminary training.
With this I can start to build relationships with my customers and figure out the things
that they need from me. Because money, to me, isnʼt the most important thing to
business. Itʼs the communication with other people, with your customers, that is the
most important. Letʼs say you already have a contract, if you donʼt have communication
with that customer, that contract will be gone!
My experience with the people at TJA was awesome, especially with Logan. He was my
consultant through my training, he and everyone else at TJA are very cool, professional
people. Especially when I compare you to the people at the other company that I trained
with. My advantage now is the professionalism I have learned from my training, and
having TJA who has taught me the right things to do in my business.
